Louis’ practice focuses on corporate and commercial law matters with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions.  He works primarily with owner-operated and family owned businesses in a number of industries including insurance, construction, information technology, manufacturing and distribution.  Working closely with his clients, he provides practical, strategic and timely advice in a cost-effective manner.  He is experienced in all areas of corporate and commercial law including the buying or selling of a business, establishing new businesses, corporate and tax reorganizations, financing transactions, leasing and the drafting of shareholders and partnership agreements. He often assists clients in finding efficient means of resolving commercial, shareholder and partnership disputes to avoid costly and time-consuming litigation.

Louis is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, Ontario Bar Association and Canadian Bar Association.  He has served on the board of York Central Hospital Foundation and is past-president of Community Living York South.
